Manitowoc County Figure Skating Club
Manitowoc County Figure Skating Club was started in 1998. MCFSC is affiliated and its events are sanctioned by USFSA. The goal of the organization is to promote and expand the sport of Figure Skating.
MCFSC Operates 4 skating groups
Skaters who are in Learn-To-Skate Basic 4 and higher, but want to enhance their skating skills more rapidly. Club skaters may also participate in figure skating competitions and USFSA Test Sessions.
Skaters are children ages 4 through adult. Skaters will learn basic skating skills for recreational and social skating.
Skaters who are in Learn-To-Skate Basic 4 and higher, who wants to build their skills on a team level may join our Synchro Teams.
Similar to collegiate skating, the high school program offers skaters the opportunity to compete on a team for their high school. Several states host a high school series and a state final, and any high school team is eligible to enter the U.S. FIGURE SKATING National High School Cyber Challenges or Sectional High School Finals. All skaters must be enrolled as a full-time student as defined by the institution that they attend, grades 9-12, as per state guidelines. This includes both traditional and home school students.
MCFSC events and functions are made possible by all of our volunteers and sponsors. If you would like more information about how you can help or if you simply would like to donate or become a sponsor please contact us at manitowoccountyfsc@gmail.com
MCFSC
MCFSC holds an annual Ice Show for both the Learn-To-Skate and Club skaters to complete the skating season and perform talents of all level skaters.
In addition to the Ice Show, MCFSC has an exhibition in December for skaters who are participating in the Club Ice Program. This exhibition allows skaters to perform their individual programs for family and friends.
All of these events are open to the public.
